Reading Comprehension

Answering text-dependent questions, retelling stories and/or information, and learning text structure and text features

Comprehension starts at the third read of the book where students are asked text-dependent questions, literal and inferential, to understand the text, illustrations, and text features. In the abbreviated episodes, students will also have an opportunity to retell the events in sequence as part of comprehension practice.
