Before you Start
Students should be able to:
- Read closed syllable words with digraphs and blends (CVC, CCVC, CVCC, CCVCC).
- Recognize open and closed vowel syllable patterns.
- Receive instruction on long vowel patterns: silent e, ( magic e) vowel digraph team.
- Participate in the word sort activity by vowel syllable pattern.
- Receive instruction in inflectional endings (third person singular-s tense marker)
