Use the Observation Checklist PDF (print button) and Teacher Analysis Prompts to analyze student progress. Reteaching: If students struggle, stretch out or bounce each sound in the word to help them see, feel, and hear the sound. Revisit the ‘Foundational Skills’ lesson for students who need more practice with the short vowel and the ‘Sounds in Words’ activities in lesson 2/3/4 for students who need more practice with the consonant sounds.
